Counsellor Directory
This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description
Sonja Bristow takes a holistic approach to counselling that supports and encourages clients and allows them to heal, grow, and thrive as they explore some of their stuck places. Coming alongside clients, Sonja offers a confidential, compassionate, and supportive presence giving clients the opportunity to be heard, and helped to discover the ss, supports, and insights necessary to enjoy quality relationships, and realize their life potential.
Although Sonja uses a wide range of helpful counselling therapeutic modalities she also offers the latest in neurofeedback technology. Neurofeedback is a cutting edge therapy that stabilizes the central nervous tem function by providing information about the brain to the brain in a way that it learns to regulate and balance itself. It is a researched, safe, effective, non-invasive, drug-free therapy with no troubling side effects, yet can offer remarkable and lasting results. The latest brain research reveals that the ability to “do” life well is directly connected to optimal brain functioning. Neurofeedback brain training promotes brain optimization and allows many clients to experience complete freedom and/or reduced symptoms from problematic issues such as concussion, anxiety/panic attacks, compulsivity, anger/reactivity, chemo-brain “fog”/focus & concentration, and PTSD, to name but a few.
Sonja is also a published co-author of “Making Faces: Logan’s Cleft Lip & Palate Story”, a book written to support cleft-affected families. This book documents the surgeries, treatments, and emotional challenges and experiences growing up with a unilateral cleft lip & palate.
Dynamic Life offers presentations, workshops, and seminars on a variety of wellness topics incorporating innovative teaching, creative interaction, and insight through story and experience. Imparting helpful resources, empowering techniques and tools in an engaging way makes group training and education enjoyable.
